I forgive you for not being the person I thought you were, and I

forgive you for never being able to tell me you didn’t love me like

I loved you. I forgive you for everything. And it’s not because you’ve

proved you’re not that guy anymore, and it’s not because secretly

I want us to be normal again. It’s because I’ve realized that you

didn’t mean to hurt me, and that it wasn’t worth my time anymore

to be angry with you. We’re different people than we were when I fell

in love with you. And as far as I’m concerned… finally falling out of

love with you was the best thing that ever happened to me. So I don’t

have to be bitter anymore, and I don’t have to be mad at you anymore.

I just have to remember that we were kids when that happened, and that

we’re not the same people we used to be. We’ll never be those people ever

again. So yes, I forgive you…for everything.
